NEW SMP AND SSP RATES FOR APRIL 2007 ANNOUNCED
 

The Government has published the draft Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order 2007 which contains the revised rates for a number of allowances including rates of various maternity and paternity allowances and SSP.

The new rate for statutory maternity/paternity/adoption pay from 1 April 2007 will be £112.75 per week (£108.85 current rate).

The new SSP rate from 6 April 2007 will be £72.25 per week (£70.05).
